“Navigator” office opens in Minneapolis

Earlier this month, small business owners gathered at Minneapolis City Hall to celebrate with Mayor Betsy Hodges and several City Council members an agreement to open a Minneapolis small-business “navigator” office. Navigators help new businesses with a “soup-to-nuts checklist and hands-on coaching to get them through a simpler, streamlined process”.

MetroIBA members Dan Swenson-Klatt owner Butter Bakery, Harvy Zuckman, Marcus Owens, CEO of the Northside Economic Opportunity Network were among those attending and who lobbied for the creation of the office.
